If you are passionate about the Beverly Farmers' Market and would like to help out a little more, that would be awesome! Let's work hard to make the market a huge success and a lot of fun for all of us.
The level of commitment is really up to you! You can volunteer for one Monday or for every Monday. If you have a specific skill that you would like to volunteer to the market, please do let me know! Volunteer Opportunities 2011/2012
- pick up and fill water canteens in Salem (by the courthouse), requires heavy lifting
- help set up managers' tent around 2:00 pm
- run the EBT machine for SNAP customers and possible credit card purchases
- write a weekly event update to the Beverly Citizen
- write a weekly event update to the Salem Evening
- write a weekly event update to Bev Cam/Chanel 10
- put up posters and fliers for the Farmers' Market
- hand out fliers to commuters as they exit train
- help take down managers' tent at 6:45 pm
- put up fliers for the November 21st, 2011 indoor market
