Opening Day is June 10, 2013!

17 weeks until Opening Day of the Beverly Farmers' Market!  Is it too early to count down?  Maybe.  But we are steadily moving towards greener days and fresh veggies in your back yard.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor with the Beverly Farmers' Market please check out our 2013 Vendor Applicatoin tab above.  All the information you will need is there.  New this year is a message for Back Yard Gardeners. The farmers' market supports Back Yard Gardeners by offering a sliding fee scale and flexible commitment to vend at the market.

Be on the look out for a call for volunteers and sponsors at the market this year.  We need your help to keep the market thriving!

Starting our 5th season!

Already, farmers are ordering seeds and thinking, dreaming about working the soil and how things are going to grow.  Like them, I am refreshed from a Winter break and ready to embrace the 5th season of The Beverly Farmers' Market!

If you are without fresh veggies from a CSA or Co-op this Winter, here are two great local options.

1.  The Newburyport Farmers' Market takes place on the first and third Sunday of February and March.  Their regular season starts in April.  The market is under a huge tent in the parking lot of the Tannery.  I went two weeks ago and stocked up on carrots, cabbage, greenhouse radishes and sprouts, and goat cheese.  Everything was delicious!  You will find me there this Sunday.  Click here for more information:  Newburyport Winter Market

2.  Right here in Beverly there is a fantastic program called Farmers To You.  This program works like Pea Pod from Stop n Shop, or other grocery delivery systems.  The beauty of Farmers To You is that, the food is farm fresh!  You can order online and pick up your order weekly at the Cove Community Center.  Follow these links to find out more information:  Farmers To You,  Cove Community Center

Share your pictures and suggestions about farm fresh food in your life this Winter!  Send comments or photos to  We will share the best of them on this website and facebook next week.

Important update on the Trashfinders Ball:
Last year The Trashfinders Ball raised over $2000 for the Beverly Farmers' Market.  With that money we brought you 5 different musical guests, 25 beautifully designed lawn signs, 1 new logo, and 8 new hula hoops. Thank you all who supported the Ball and all who support the market.  In support of this year's Ball, check out their kickstarter.  Let's make this super quirky, amazing event sustainable!

What are you growing?
