Market today!

The cool, crisp air is here!  Today is the 13th market day of the season.  Celebrate your local food resources by doing a majority of your food shopping at the Beverly Farmers' Market.  How far does your food travel?  Food from the grocery store is often picked before it is ripe and then packaged and trucked over thousands of miles before it gets put on a shelf at the store.  Treat yourself to fresh produce, grown by the people in you neighborhood, (or at least this region).  Talk to the farmers about the food that they picked that morning.

Our musical guest today is Jeff Buckridge, he will entertain us on the Ukelele from 4-6 pm

The compost station is open today from 3-7.  Bring your kitchen scraps (no dairy or meat) down to the market to drop-off at our free compost station.

Learn more about vermi-composting next week at the September 24th market.  There will be live demonstrations!

Also, you can now watch moments from the Beverly Farmers' Market on YouTube!  Here is a clip from last weeks' musical guests, sponsored by the Beverly Cultural Council, Quintessential Brass.  Enjoy!

Stop by the market tent to say hello or to use the services that we offer!  You can use your SNAP card or credit card, wash your hands, get a drink of water, and sign up for our newsletter!

See you at the market!
